This last week, I took this picture in Tigard, and gee, I can’t figure why business may be down. Do I really want to know the way to the Pagan ritual retreat stop? Is that really the journey I want to go on when I learn to drive? I guess, though, you are getting a two for one deal, you learn to drive and get the Pagan journey for one low price. Wait, can you carpool? Maybe we can get others to pitch in for the road trip? No, wait a second, I’m not going on any journey with someone who is just learning to drive. That sounds way too dangerous!

OK, if you have funny signs, feel free to add yours to the post in the comments and I promise to have more in the upcoming weeks. Since I started thinking about doing this I have come across a few that are perfect for this series.

Give the gift of life! Donate blood (Location places for Beaverton and Tigard, Oregon)

Summer is ending, but that doesn't mean the demand for blood donations is going down the fact is it is actually going up. The finally couple weeks of summer can actually be one of the biggest times for the need for blood. Families are all out trying to get one last weekend in before school starts and unfortunately with the holiday weekend accidents happen and the need for blood for transfusions rise.

Donating blood is quick, easy and like I said only takes a couple hours. Then the rest of the day or evening you can be the hero you are and where the sticker that tells the world that you are a hero, the one that says "I DONATED BLOOD TODAY!"

Sometimes it just too hot to play… So let’s just talk

Our church just had this event that they kids got to play in the water all afternoon and though the kids enjoyed it, it did get rather hot and you could tell some of the kids just wanted to find a way to escape the sun. Well, my son and his friend found away to do that by just relaxing in the $6 kiddy pool and talking. So, I guess sometimes it is even too hot to play! My guess is Monday when we are supposed to hit 100 degrees here, it might just be another one of those days that it will be time to sit in the $6 pool and call it day.

The Bull Mountain North neighborhood of Tigard, Oregon goes west, starting at Barrows/Gaarde to Bull Mountain Rd, Then from Pacific Hwy to Beef Bend Rd. This part of Tigard, Oregon is in Tigard School district even though Bull Mountain itself hasn’t been incorporated in to Tigard. The Greenburg neighborhood of Tigard, Oregon goes east, starting at 121^stAve, to Hwy 217, and south, from Scholls Ferry to Pacific Highway (99w). This part of Tigard, Oregon is partially in Tigard School district and partially in the Beaverton School District. The only park in this area of Tigard is Englewood Park near Scholls Ferry road. However, it does connect to a much larger park on the Beaverton side of Scholls Ferry Road, called Greenway Park.

The Mountainview neighborhood of Tigard, Oregon goes South from McDonald to Durham Road, East from Pacific Hwy to Hall Blvd, with the exception of the summerfield area in the southwest corner which is a 55 plus community. On the back side of the boundary it follows Walnut from Barrows Road to 121st. This part of Tigard, Oregon is partially in Tigard School district and partially in the Beaverton School District.
