What took
about two months for my ancestors has taken my
family about 11 days to complete. The Oregon Trail from
Utah to Oregon was a
fun journey and we learned a lot and it was a better history of the
trail than
my kids ever would have gotten in the classroom. It was tiring, even
for me and
I wasn’t hiking 22 miles a day. But, I’m glad to be at the end of the
trail and
back home again. I am here to help my clients home just like the Oregon
Trail,
real estate can be an adventure and I’m ready to be their guide.

What if there was a way you could search the MLS for FREE just like Realtors
Now you can access the MLS using similar tools as Realtors. You are in control of what you want to search for, and you can search the MLS at your leisure. The information you submit in the form below can also be used to put you on an automated system where you'll be emailed all homes that meet your search criteria. You'll get internet access to a website that includes pictures, prices, and addresses to real estate that's listed in the MLS!

Good for you, Todd. It's funny, we take a lot of things for granted, and our country's landmarks, historical landmarks, and all it's treasures are sometimes overlooked. I think it is especially important for our young people to learn to love it. I applaud you!
Todd, Welcome back, was that shot actually taken on your vacation?
Todd - a good example of perspective. Back to work and back to reality - sounds like you have achieved a good balance. Thanks for the good post.
Good thing you had that GPS Locater with you. Easy to get lost out there. Kidding and welcome back.
Jean, I was always one of those kids that if I couldn't touch it, I couldn't learn it. Memory just wouldn't hold.

Connie - Yes, that was taken while on vacation, that fence was less than 10 feet from wagon ruts actually left by the pioneers 150 years ago on the Oregon trail.
Michael - Thank you Michael, it really was a nice break, but I do need to get back to work for my clients.
Todd, You have made me appreciate my car, bike and even my unicycle and rollerblades! We are so spoiled by all of our wheeled conveyances. I was driving by Oregon City a couple of weeks ago and thought about the fact that it is the end of the trail. I took a moment to daydream about the wagons crossing the valley and what they might have thought as they finally made it home. Your trip must have been fantastic! Kudos to you for showing this to your family, they must have loved it! Enjoy your "Holiday Workweek!" :)
Welcome back. There is no place like home and I am sure it was a great learning experience for all of you.

What a great experience for the whole family! Welcome back...I am sure your clients are happy to see you.
Todd,
I applaud you home schooling your children...and I think it is fantastic that you went on the trail. Your pictures are inspiring.... :)
Todd,
Great black and white shot and super accomplishment to take this trip with your family. :)
Steve
Todd, that must have been an amazing trip. Something tells me that you might have learned as much as your children did!
Hi Todd... I like how you tied this all up with a good real estate analogy! :-)
Great fence post photo, Todd! I have one I took a year or so ago, and it's still one of my faves!
Todd,
This post is now featured on "Speechless Sundays." :)

A simple yet great shot. I love inanimate object photos in sepia or b and w...
I keep forgetting to use the black and white function, it is so cool...
