I know it seems crazy, but I found out size does matter the other day and yes it really is impressive when you come across a 30 foot weenie! But, when the cute girls driving the weenie make you sing for a free whistle and you know the tune, you knew what I was going to do!

The Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile

The Wiener Plate

My Weenie Whistle
Yep, I sang the Oscar Mayer Wiener song all for a little Oscar Mayer Weenie Whistle! Remember this commercial? I remember the re-runs of this one as well as the little kid sitting on the sidewalk one.

What if there was a way you could search the MLS for FREE just like Realtors
Now you can access the MLS using similar tools as Realtors. You are in control of what you want to search for, and you can search the MLS at your leisure. The information you submit in the form below can also be used to put you on an automated system where you'll be emailed all homes that meet your search criteria. You'll get internet access to a website that includes pictures, prices, and addresses to real estate that's listed in the MLS!

I can sing the entire song from memory, gee thought those mobiles were a thing of the past
how fun that must have been for your kids :)
LOL I love that song, Todd! Of course, now it will be singing in my head as I try to sleep!
Todd,
I've often felt that every one wanted to take a byte of me!
Bill
I would have sang the song for a whistle too! HAHAHA
You need to embed video in your posts. Would love to have the video of you singing along with your description. That would be a hoot.
Cal
Very cute Todd. Now you're going to have me humming this tune in my head for the whole day. Maybe I'll have some for lunch today!
I remember those things...I also thought they were parked in a junk yard somewhere. Great to see an icon from the past still out making the rounds.
Oh, those were the good old days yuh? :) Our local butcher shop has a remake of this "auto" with their old fashioned wiener on top. Very cute.
Ahh...this is a classic and what fun to show the kids that you still have great pipes...
I too want a video of you with your whistle, Todd!
I sure do remember the song and now I will be whistleing it all day...cute cute cute post!
Todd,
I was driving someplace last summer and passed the Weinermobile on the Interstate (it was on the road below going in the opposite direction). :)

Ya gotta just love the Oscar Mayer Weiner Mobile:-) I've often thought if I weren't a Realtor, I'd ask to drive that thing around the country for free. I'd take pictures and blog about the experiences along the way:-)
Todd - Back when I was pregnant with my first son my friends and I spotted one of these parked in a hotel parking lot one night. Of course we took numerous pictures standing around it.
Hi Todd, Too funny. I must say, Myrl's idea would be a real hoot !The funny thing is that she would actually do that. The blogs would be fun for sure.
Now, see folks, where you that day? I wish I would have giving a flip to the operators of the wienie mobile and had them filming me singing, I would have gladly posted that.
