Our church just had this event that they kids got to play in the water all afternoon and though the kids enjoyed it, it did get rather hot and you could tell some of the kids just wanted to find a way to escape the sun. Well, my son and his friend found away to do that by just relaxing in the $6 kiddy pool and talking. So, I guess sometimes it is even too hot to play! My guess is Monday when we are supposed to hit 100 degrees here, it might just be another one of those days that it will be time to sit in the $6 pool and call it day.

Todd - These boys are smart cooling off while hanging outside. We've had several days like this in South Florida, too hot to do anything, but relax indoors or in a pool, kiddie pools included.

We're getting one more heat wave in Las Vegas too. The good news is that September and cooler temps are only 2 1/2 weeks away.

There are some days I wish I could do that. We are having record high temps this year and can't wait until the fall to get some relief.
