Speechless Sundays: Stop and smell the flowers

Can't you just smell this flower?
This shot was taken in my backyard, just as this guy was about to land. It took me an hour of watching them and snapping pictures before I was able to get even this shot and this isn't even the shot I was going for. I really wanted one of him in flight about 1mm from the flower. But, I still got some good shots and as soon as the sun comes out again, I'll be right back trying.

Great shot Todd. Lee loves to see these little guys working hard too - he keeps bees and shares his honey with neighbors, friends and clients. Have a great Sunday!

Great Photo.  Being in the area that you are, waiting for the sun to come back out may be August.  HA HA. Robert Earl

I think it's a great pic.  Not easy to get the shot of the bee, I tried it last weekend.

I would like to take some of the hummingbirds in my area but I don't have the patience.

I am not sure which is more impressive - the actual picture or the amount of patience you exercised in order to get the shot. Thanks for inspiring me on both fronts.
