I couldn't believe it when I got the email, there it was, someone wanted to pay me to use my photo. This makes me a professional, well I guess not until I actually get the check. But, I have a lawyer writing a contract on exactly how the photo can be used and for how long. But, I have to say that when one of your first is used, it is really exciting. How did they find the photo? Activerain of course.

Hi Todd, Typically for a small photo you receive a $1. At most , $2 or $3 for the large one.  Don't spend it all in one place. :-). But Congratulations on moving into the professional division of Photography. The real money is likley in taking wedding photos, LMAO.

I have to say I'm very excited about this also and believe me they are paying me more than .03 on this one. I don't know what kind of advertising it will be used for, but I don't care so much and after talking with my lawyer, we aren't going to require credit for the photo either, that way the can use it for their purpose for 1 year.
