I don't feel like typing Saturdays, but I'm going to do it anyway!

Interstate Bridge

Yesterday was the big day, I got my new Nikon D90 in the mail and I have to say I couldn't sleep. I wanted to take a picture, so I drove some 25 miles in the middle of the night to do it.

Todd,

Isn't it like when we were kids, and could not wait for the time to run to the Christmas tree to open a present? Pretty much the same feeling, yep.

Great photo

Todd, you must really be excited about the new camera to drive 25 miles to take a picture in the middle of the night.  Personally I'd rather sleep.  It does however take great pictures judging by your photo. Love it.

I do have to admit it was like being a kid again and I think the first time that the picture I saw in my head and what appeared on the camera were the same thing. All day I've been thinking of photos I can take, but the Pacific Northwest rain has kept me inside today.

Enjoy the new camera Todd.  This picture is stunning.  Well done.

Todd, those are the funnest cameras!  Still, I tend to use my little point and shoot number that's easy to carry around.  Now you've inspired me!

Posted by Patricia Kennedy (Evers & Company Realtors) over 2 years ago

From the photo you posted Todd, I can see why you would drive that distance! I bet you'll be having fun even though it's raining...you can catch unsuspecting family members (this includes animals too) in the house today :0)

I'm impressed with your dedication.  In the middle of the night????   Will that camera make me look thinner and younger?  If yes, please bring it Thursday. :)

Todd, my daughter is a bit of an amateur photographer but she takes amazing pictures with a point-and-shoot.  I was looking for a good camera for her 18th birthday so thanks for sharing what you use.
