WARRIORS BOOK 2
FIRE AND ICE
I loved this book. It was full of
adventure.
(Book 1 was about
Firepaw's adventure as an apprentice, training to become a warrior.)
In this book, because Firepaw became a warrior, his name was changed to Fireheart. This book is about Fireheart's adventures as a warrior and a mentor. Fireheart's apprentice was named Cinderpaw. She was very adventruous and excited about training and jumped ahead every time she went hunting. During leaf-bare a sickness, called greencough, runs thru the forest and a lot of warriors and kits get sick and die. So Fireheart went to the two-leg place to pick cat nip so the medicine cat, Yellowfang, could use it to help cure the leader from greencough.
However, Tigerclaw (the deputy) wanted to see the leader go and get evidence of other clans hunting in their territory. Fireheart needed to go tell Tigerclaw that the leader was sick, but Cinderpaw wanted to deliver the message. Fireheart said no, but because Cinderpaw was so adventurous, she didn't listen and went anyway. She tried to cross the thunderpath (which is dangerous to cross) but Cinderpaw tried to cross it, but she didn't make it across. Fireheart realized what she did and went running to her. Now she will never become a warrior because of her leg.
While all that was happening, Graystripe (his best friend) was sneaking out of camp to see someone he's not supposed to see. He was seeing a cat from their rival clan. Fireheart was angry that he was breaking the warrior code, but then realized that he was also breaking code by going to visit his human family.
Unfortunately a battle was coming between the 2 clans. Graystripe said he would not stop seeing his girlfriend and nothing could make him.
I loved this book. If you decide to read it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

footsteps.
THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN
SPIDERMAN VS. KRAVEN
I
thought this book was good. Peter Parker went to the zoo
to take pictures. He
saw Kraven was letting the animals out. Spiderman fought Kraven and
Spiderman
saved all the animals.

It is also available on Amazon and Powells.com
She has been getting great reviews on it...fantasy vampire story.
Meesha --- excellent report on Warriors -- you can tell that you really enjoyed the book -- great descriptions -- I like adventure, myself.
Nathaniel -- good job -- last Halloween, I dressed up as Spiderman --he is good about saving animals. Keep up your good work.
Mama Liz

Cheers, Well Done Kids :O))
Hey thanks for helping with my Christmas shopping. Now I have an idea for my nieces and nephews.
Meesha
Sounds like a good book. Is the greencough a illness eveyone is avoiding? Tigerclaw sounds like a trouble maker. Does Fireheart have a friendship with Tigerclaw?
Meesha -
Great job as usual. I'm going to look for these every Friday. What a great job you do!
Nate -
Spiderman is a great hero. Not perfect. Just human...mostly. And heroic. Thanks for writing.
Say hello to Natascha.
Jim
Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments, the kids are all smiles. Art, thank you for the encouragement, as I think that one day, that is my daughters goal and my wife actually has a book to publish right now.

And Jim, Natascha says hi back and now wants to go to Eugene today. (LOL)
