I don't feel like typing Saturdays: So, I've found a place to relax and read a good book

Silver Falls State Park

I went on a day hike at Silver Falls state park and found this great place to sit a read a book. Was about 20 degrees cooler here than it was outside the park.

Todd, I'm with you. This does look like a great place to read a book and maybe take a dip. Have a good weekend!

Todd,

When you're up to typing again, you're gong to have to tell us about this spot.

Given the weather the last couple of days, I suggest a warm sleeping bag and hot beverage of some kind to make the experience complete!  Is this in the Gorge?

Have a greet weekend!

Dude....read....Left To Tell by Immaculée Ilibagiza. It's one of the best books out there. I just got the book and can't put it down. Here's the nickel on it from FB.... Immaculée Ilibagiza was born in Rwanda and studied Electronic and Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Rwanda. Her life transformed dramatically in 1994 during the Rwanda genocide, one of the most brutal massacres of our time. Immaculée and seven other women huddled silently together in a cramped bathroom 91 days while hundreds of thousands of ethnic Tutsis and moderate Hutus were murdered throughout Rwanda. During this horrific ordeal, Immaculée lost most of her family and her friends. And yet, through her unwavering faith, she was able to find forgiveness for the people who had killed her family and destroyed her homeland. This amazing woman is a true inspiration and a testament to the power of forgiveness. Then.....go to your waterfall and read, read, read! Let me know!

Nice looking falls; is this by your home? Be careful the mist is not too hard on your book when reading. I would have to think this is in a State park by you; am I wrong again?

Some times we have to stop and smell the roses and getting lost in a good book is a great way to do it...good for you.  Beautiful picture, nice place to read if it's near by.
