Today we found a park that we were glad we hunted out. Hideaway Park is a little park just off Olsen Road but it has no signs to tell you it’s there. Once we found it we were glad we did or at least the kids were glad we did. (LOL) This park was something different than most parks in the Beaverton, Tigard area.
This park doesn’t have much, but because of the unusual stuff it did have made the kids not want to leave. The first toy they spotted was a spinney toy that was a lot of fun for the kids. There was a slide with no walls, basketball hoops and even a little trail going through the park.

This park has the normal stuff too, like swings and a slide, but that certainly wasn’t where most of the time was spent. That simple spinney thing, pictured above, was a huge hit! So, if you are interested in giving your child some new and unusual toys to play with at a park, then check out Hideaway Park, it will be well worth it.
